George Hallamore
Zengela Hunters founder, George Hallamore, has been a professional hunter for more than 25 years. A graduate of Plumtree High School and a Zimbabwe native, George was guided into the professional hunting arena by his father, Lou Hallamore.
George spent time as an apprentice under Mike Fynn of Ngamo Safaris in the early 90s and has since worked with Southern Quest Safaris and HHK Safaris. He is well versed in both bow and rifle hunting. While George prefers elephant hunts, his best hunt is for the elusive leopard.
He is a proud member of the Zimbabwe Professional Hunters and Guides Association and is actively hunting more than 200 days per year. This frequency provides George and his hunting customers with a keen insight and knowledge of the Zimbabwe hunting grounds and the fascinating animals that call it home.
When not out on the hunt, George enjoys spending time with his wife Justine and their two children.
Justine Hallamore
George’s wife, Justine Hallamore, is also a native of Zimbabwe. She handles many of the administrative duties and routinely acts as a liaison for our clients while George is out on hunts. She and George have one daughter and one son.
